Yacht Charter Payment Structure

Your yacht charter cost is divided into two payments: the Reservation Fee and the Charter Fee. These payments differ in both nature and method, and both must be completed for your charter to proceed.

Reservation Fee

Initial Payment: The Reservation Fee, which is the first payment, must be made on the day you book your yacht charter. This one-time fee secures your yacht reservation for a specific date and time with a designated yacht operator. Jay Luxury Yachts will provide the payment method for this fee. Once received, you will receive a Booking Confirmation Voucher via email or WhatsApp, detailing the yacht, date, and time of your charter. This fee compensates Jay Luxury Yachts for matching your booking request with available yachts and securing your reservation with the operator.

Non-Transferable: The Reservation Fee applies only to the selected yacht. If you decide to choose a different yacht later, the previously paid Reservation Fee cannot be transferred and is non-refundable. A new Reservation Fee will be required for the new yacht selection.

Charter Fee and Port Fee

  • Final Payment: The Charter Fee and Port Fee, which constitute the remaining balance of your yacht charter cost, must be paid in cash at the port on the day of departure. This payment is made directly to the yacht operator and is not handled by Jay Luxury Yachts. Ensure this payment is made before the trip begins.

Charter Timing

  • Start Time: Your charter begins at the time specified in the Booking Confirmation Voucher. If you arrive late, the vessel will wait for you, but no refunds or additional time will be provided for late arrivals.

Cancellations and Refunds

Weather-Related Cancellations: If your yacht charter is canceled due to severe weather conditions (such as hurricanes, lightning storms, or tornadoes) or other reasons by Worldwide Yacht Rentals LLC, you may reschedule your charter or receive a full refund of the Reservation Fee within three days.

Non-Refundable Conditions: Conditions such as rain, clouds, wind, excessive sun, potential thunderstorms, or heat are not valid reasons for cancellation, rescheduling, or a Reservation Fee refund.

Customer-Initiated Cancellations: If you cancel the yacht charter for personal reasons (such as illness, injury, government obligations, travel advisories, or event cancellations), the Reservation Fee is non-refundable.

Travel-Related Cancellations: If you cancel your yacht reservation due to airline or weather-related issues at either the departure or arrival port, the Reservation Fee is non-refundable.

Early Termination Due to Seasickness or Client Request

Refunds for the Reservation Fee or Charter Fee will not be issued if the yacht charter concludes early due to the client experiencing seasickness or dizziness, or if the client requests an early end to the tour.

Weather-Related Snorkeling Cancellations

Refunds for the Reservation Fee or Charter Fee will not be provided if snorkeling activities are canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

No-Show Policy

No refunds of the Reservation Fee will be given for no-shows. If you do not show up, your charter experience will be considered complete, and the Charter Fee will be forfeited, with the Reservation Fee remaining non-refundable.
